Mrs. Benedetto – Administrative Director/Teacher -- 3’s
T/Th and 4’s MWF
Education: A degree in Spanish/Secondary Education.
TVN Experience: Sue has been with TVN since 1989.
Personal Profile: Sus has been a resident of Albany since 1981. She
and her husband, Frank, have three children, Brian, Brent & Carly.
Comments to the Parents: “I hope to give your child a memorable and
exciting learning experience at TVN. With Spanish as my
background, don’t be surprised if your 4-year olds come home with
some Spanish songs and words.”
Mrs. Petraglia– Assistant Teacher -- 3’s T/Th and 4’s
MWF
TVN Experience: 5 Years as an assistant to Mrs. Benedetto
Background: Sally has lived in Delmar with her family for 15 years.
She volunteered extensively in the reading and writing programs at
Hamagrael Elementary and taught religious education at ST. Thomas
for 6 years. She will be starting her 5th year at TVN this fall.
Personal Profile: She and her husband, David, have three children.
Comments to Parents: "I have greatly enjoyed working with the
children here at TVN. I know how important it is to choose the right
nursery school and TVN is the perfect place to start."
Mrs. Germano – Teacher -- 3’s T/Th and 3’s MWF
Education: A.A.S. in Early Childhood Education.
TVN Experience: 9 Years as a Teacher.
Personal Profile: Married with two sons.
Comments to the Parents: “I am looking forward to my 9th year
teaching at TVN. It is a wonderful school and I feel very fortunate to be
part of the teaching staff.”
Ms. Galazzo – Assistant Teacher -- 3’s T/Th and 3’s MWF
Education: Associate's Degree in Business
Background: I moved to Bethlehem in 1987 primarily because I felt it
was a great place to raise children, and as it turns out, it was. It has
been very gratifying to watch my two sons go through the school
district and grow up in this town. I have worked in early childhood
education since coming to Bethlehem. I have been with TVN for the
past 9 years and the Bethlehem Central School District for the past 7
years.
TVN Experience: This is her 9th year as Assistant Teacher.
Personal Profile: Has lived in Bethlehem for 18 years. Has two sons,
Nicholas & Stephen.
Comments to the Parents: " My position as a teacher's assistant
requires me to work together with the teacher to create a positive
classroom environment. My job involves taking directives from the
teacher and assisting in the supervision of the entire class. I also
work independently to seek out and assist children who are in need of
individual attention."
Mrs. McKillop– Teacher -- 4’s M-Th
Background: B.A in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Special Education with an additional endorsement in Affective Education.
TVN Experience: This is Mary's first year teaching at TVN, however she has over ten years experience teaching various age levels.
Personal Profile: She and her husband live in Delmar and have two children.
Comments to the Parents: “I am excited to work with the children and families on building a foundation for learning.
Mrs. Barker – Assistant Teacher -- 4’s M-Th
Background: B.S. in Elementary Education and taught at the
kindergarten level.
TVN Experience: 16 Years as an Assistant Teacher.
Personal Profile: Lives in Delmar and has five children who now live
in the Washington, D.C. and Metropolitan NYC areas.
Comments to the Parents: “I am looking forward to working with your
4-years olds.”
Mrs. Fronheiser– Teacher / Educational Director
4’s M-Th
Education: B.S in Education and Drama . Masters Degree in Early
Childhood Education. Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational
Leadership
TVN Experience: This is her 2nd year with TVN. Previously, Jane has
taught primarily at the Kindergarten and 1st grade level, but has also
taught 4th grade
Personal Profile: Jane lives in Bethlehem with her husband and
daughters, Hannah and Addison. Hannah is a student here, at TVN.
Comments to the Parents: " I am very excited to be teaching the 4
year old class again this year, and I am looking forward to meeting all
of the families at Tri-Village".
Mrs. Vaccarino – Assistant Teacher -- 4’s M-Th
Background: Served on the Board at Tri- Village from 2002-2004.
Prior to obtaining the position of Assistant teacher. She also served
as substitute teacher at TVN..
TVN Experience: This is her 6th year as an Assistant Teacher at TVN.
Personal Profile: She lives in Glenmont with her husband and two
daughters, Vanessa and Kailee. Both children attended TVN and had
Sue Benedetto and Anita Germano as their teachers.
Comments to the Parents: “I am very excited about being an
Assistant Teacher at Tri-Village Nursery School. From the first day as
helping parent in my daughter's classes, I knew that this was
something I wanted to do permanently. I am thankful for being given
the opportunity. I look forward to meeting all of the children and having
a lot of fun.”
